Week 2 of the NFL season is in the books, and former Hawkeyes were making significant impacts everywhere.

While names like Amani Hooker, Alaric Jackson and Anthony Nelson headlined the list of former Hawkeyes in Week 1, a new wave of ex-Iowa players owned things in Week 2. And right on-brand, defensive success and tight-end dominance were the headliners this week.

Here are three former Hawkeyes who stood out the most in Week 2.

Baltimore Ravens safety Geno Stone (26) had an interception on the goal line to help Baltimore secure a win over the Bengals on Sunday.

While he may be kicking himself for not taking his interception to the house, Stone's goal line pick was still quite crucial. His third-quarter turnover and 35-yard run back allowed Baltimore to hold onto its 13-10 advantage, which eventually morphed into a 27-24 victory.

Stone was also the Ravens' leading tackler with nine tackles and a pass defended. A good day at the office for the former seventh-round pick.

Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson (87) scores a touchdown after a catch against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night. Minnesota would lose the game, 34-28.

Hockenson got the Iowa party started on Thursday, hauling in seven catches for 66 yards and two touchdowns in the Vikings' 34-28 road loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Hockenson scored Minnesota's first points and last points of the night, grabbing a pair of 5-yard scores from Kirk Cousins to make things interesting. Through two weeks, Minnesota should feel very good about the massive contract it just gave the former top-10 pick.

Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant hauled in four catches for 56 yards in a win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

Fant hasn't had quite the same level of success as Hockenson despite both going in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. But the Seahawks' tight end generated a solid day in Seattle's overtime win over the Detroit Lions.

Fant grabbed all four of his targets for 56 yards, punctuated by a nice 31-yard catch along the sideline in the second quarter. Fant also had a clutch grab on Seattle's eventual game-winning drive in overtime.
