Bettendorf five-star point guard D.J. Carton has scheduled his first two official visits.

Carton will visit Michigan on June 27 and 28 (a Wednesday and Thursday) and then Indiana that weekend, his high school coach told the Register.

Michigan and Indiana are among Carton’s final six schools, along with Iowa, Ohio State, Marquette and Xavier. He does not currently have a visit to Iowa on the schedule, but he has said he wants to visit all six schools before he makes a decision.

Bettendorf's D.J. Carton is a target for many Power Five programs.

Carton, who checks in at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, is in Virginia right now for the prestigious NBPA Top 100 Camp. (Iowa recruit Patrick McCaffery and Iowa 2020 target Xavier Foster are also there.) It’s just another phase of Carton’s eye-opening offseason, during which he’s blossomed from a Midwest must-have to a national name who was among the biggest head-turners at last week’s U18 National Team Trials.

Iowa has made Carton its clear No. 1 priority for its 2019 class.

The 247Sports Composite ranks Carton the No. 27 prospect in 2019. Rivals ranks him 30th in the class.
