The Hawkeyes have added their seventh 2019 recruit.

Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz is pictured as the team prepares for the Pinstripe Bowl on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017.

Desmond Hutson, a three-star wide receiver out of Kansas City, committed to Iowa on Tuesday. He announced his decision via Twitter.

The 247Sports Composite gives Hutson, 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, three stars and ranks him the No. 125 receiver in 2019. Rivals gives Hutson three stars and ranks him the No. 20 prospect in Missouri's 2019 class.

Hutson picked Iowa over South Dakota State, although he also held interest from Iowa State, Kansas, Minnesota and Nebraska. According to Hudl, he caught 49 passes for 792 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior for Raytown High.

Hutson joins in-state linemen Tyler Endres (Norwalk), Ezra Miller (Ridge View) and Noah Fenske (New Hampton), as well as Cedar Falls linebacker Jack Campbell, Orion (Illinois) tight end Logan Lee and Oak Lawn (Illinois) safety Sebastian Castro as part of the program's current 2019 recruiting class.
