The offseason is quickly heating up for Oskaloosa five-star power forward Xavier Foster — and we're not even at April's first evaluation period yet.

Oskaloosa's Xavier Foster (34) dribble around Glenwood's Ryan Blum (42) during the second half of their 3A state basketball championship game on Friday, March 9, 2018, in Des Moines. Glenwood would go on to win their first state title 66-62.

Foster will take an unofficial visit to Baylor on April 20, his AAU program director, BG Regins, told the Register on Thursday.

Regins also said Kansas reached out to let him know they'd watch Foster play in Dallas on April 20-22 as his Pure Prep Academy team begins the spring evaluation periods. Ohio State, Oklahoma State, TCU, SMU, Wisconsin and Xavier also notified Regins they'd be in Dallas, as did Iowa, Iowa State, Creighton, Missouri, Illinois and Texas A&M, who have all offered Foster.

Foster earned All-Iowa honorable mention this year, averaging 12.7 points, eight rebounds and 3.6 blocks per game for the Class 3A runner-up Indians. He was the only sophomore recognized in the Register's 40-player All-Iowa team.

Rivals gives Foster five stars and ranks him the No. 19 prospect in 2020. The 247Sports Composite gives him four stars and ranks him the class' No. 33 prospect.
