IOWA CITY, Ia. — Iowa's home basketball game with South Dakota will now tip off at 8 p.m. Wednesday — two hours later than originally planned.

Tyler Cook and the Iowa men's basketball team will begin play in the NIT at 8 p.m. Wednesday instead of 6 p.m.

The change was made Tuesday after a snowstorm out east forced a one-day delay in the North Carolina-Greensboro at Syracuse contest. Those teams were scheduled to open National Invitation Tournament play Tuesday, but will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday instead.

Iowa's NIT game will still be televised on ESPN2. The school announced Tuesday that 11,200 tickets have already been sold.
